JOB TITLE:NYS Licensed Funeral Director [LFD] 

REPORTS TO: Staff Manager 

Company Overview: A 5th generation firm, we are a full-service funeral home, progressive thinkers with a belief in tradition. Our funeral home operates two locations, Henrietta and Victor, NY, as well as supports a locally owned Jewish funeral home. 

Summary/Objective: Seeking a Licensed New York State Funeral Director to assist our team in meeting the needs and wishes of consumers in our care. Provide effective leadership in arraigning service selections to consumers’ needs/wishes and maintaining a knowledge base to provide ideas and solutions outside the thoughts of the consumer. 

Work Schedule: Scheduled time off is ALWAYS respected. Our team of licensed funeral directors work a six-week repeating schedule; providing every other weekend off, guaranteed day off in the week you are scheduled to work Saturday and Sunday – one four-day weekend per six-week cycle and 3-nights on-call, between a traditional Monday – Sunday week followed by a period of NO on-call duties of 7-9 days. Position type and expected hours of work Full time, minimum thirty-five (35) work hours per week, Monday through Sunday; Overtime paid for hours worked over 40, holiday pay, 401k, health care, prescription drug reimbursement plan.,
