Job Description:

The funeral director will manage, prepare and direct funeral services, conduct and coordinate delivery of remains to the funeral home. Prepare/embalm remains for services and/or interment and cremation. Perform community outreach in the form of educational seminars on topics such as pre-arrangement, bereavement, and grief management. Adhere to the home’s philosophy of providing the highest quality of services in a caring and compassionate manner and making each customer feel welcome and respected. Must be able to work with people from all walks of life. We are a smoke-free office.

Minimum Requirements:

Fully licensed in the State of NY (will consider a serious and competent resident who is interested in a long-term commitment) Proficiency in computer skills, including Word and Publisher; Clean driving record; Capable of heavy lifting.


We offer a competitive salary package and one week of PTO after one year of employment, increasing to two weeks after three years’ employment.
